Non Alcoholic Apple Cider

A warming mildly spicy apple cider. A warm sugar free fruity drink to help keep those winter blues at bay.

Ingredients

  • 1 litre of good quality cloudy apple juice (4 and 1/2 cups)
  • 1 7.5 centermeter cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 1 whole star anise

Instructions

  • In a medium sized pan pour in your apple juice and add in your spices.
  • Bring to a light boil over a medium heat.
  • Then take off the heat, cover and leave to infuse for a minimum of 2 hours, leave for up to 4 hours if you want a spicier kick.
  • Gently reheat your apple cider before you serve.
  • Though best drunk fresh, kept in the fridge this cider will keep for 3 days.
